No. I like their Japanese stuff better because they have better songs than their Korean songs. I’m not sure how a different label would matter. Isn’t it still SHINee? Still, SM and UM have a partnership, so I’m sure they knew what was going on with this whole project.
Not to worry, this whole EDM is a fad that people are going through, but it will pass.
You are missing the point. SM has everything to do with this album. From the EDM, songs, music video, release date. Just because they didn’t do the songs that doesn’t mean they were completely blind as to what was happening with this album.
Ooh, thanks for sharing this! Their Japanese releases aren’t as heavily marketed, so I might not have come across this for some time. Lovely song, and I’d like to hear a full-on ballad rendition of this, too!
The MV is gorgeous, and rather visual kei, which I guess is appropriate given that it’s a Japanese single. Also kind of reminds me of TVXQ’s Keep Your Head Down MV, especially with Taemin in black leather dancing with fire everywhere in the background, haha. Pretty cool.

so awesome baby taeminnn~
hmm.. what concept this MV? 🙂

Old oriental Japan and some CG concept 🙂 The first time CG like this has been used in any music video.

How can you have a concept of Japan without cherry blossoms?
The song was okay, but it could have done without the EDM part that SM has been putting to death lately.

Because then cherry blossoms wouldn’t reflect back blue roses in Press Your Number.
It’s Universal Music Japan but okay.

I didn’t know one had to do with the other.
Same difference. Taemin is SM.

It’s not the same because it’s a different label.
UMJ is SHINee’s Japan label and SM is SHINee’s Korean label. Isn’t that why you like SHINee’s Japanese songs more? >_>

The difference is composers and songs -_-
SM and UMJ aren’t going to have the same composers and songs in their folders.

Of course, they know. Why wouldn’t they? That wasn’t my point. My point is you saying SM “did” all of this with Taemin when it was UMJ.
So when you had a problem with EDM you should have pointed it towards UMJ, not SM.
SM knows their Japanese things but aren’t involved as much as their Korean things. Okay? 😛

Ugh, forget it. I shouldn’t have said anything.
Hate EDM, hate SM, hate whatever you want!
I always regret when I say something >.< It's not like I explain things well, anyway. Just forget it.
